The price, since it is the obvious question
People here are used to being quoted differently, and it is reasonable to wonder what a published $99 actually means.
It means this is what the job costs to do properly, and that we would rather publish it than hold a number back for the moment you are least able to compare it. A longer run takes more time, and that shows up in how much of the day we allow, not in a different rate for the postcode.
Where the total genuinely rises is when a property has several machines, and each of those is the same $99 rather than a premium for having them.
What we do differently
There are three ways to clean a dryer vent and one of them works.
The quarter-hour method is a blower aimed down the opening. Loose material at either end shifts, the compacted section stays, an invoice gets written. It fails particularly badly on long horizontal runs, which describes most of this town.
The single-ended method brushes from the appliance only. Fine on a short straight run. On forty feet with four turns it never reaches the middle, which is exactly where the material sits.
What we do is work both directions. Outside first with the machine running, so its own exhaust carries what we loosen out through the termination. Then inside, power off and the appliance drawn clear, brush into the vent and the material vacuumed out.
We trace rather than guess
In tract housing, experience narrows things down before arrival. With acre-minimum zoning and no repeated floor plans, that advantage largely disappears here, and any company claiming to know your duct route before seeing your house is telling you something untrue.
What we do know is the town by type. A Palo Cristi original has a short simple run that has probably never been opened. A Camelback Country Estates plan has a very long horizontal route. A Clearwater Hills house needs tracing properly because stepped construction puts the duct somewhere unexpected. That is a starting point rather than an answer.
What we will not tell you
The trade has a reputation and some of it is earned, and in a town where people expect to be upsold it is worth being explicit.
Nobody here invokes fire risk to push an extra. Restricted ducts genuinely carry that risk and the NFPA figures appear on several of these pages, but as background rather than leverage. We will not describe a fault inside a wall that neither of us can see.
And on a property with several machines, if one of them did not need doing, it is not charged. Somebody arranging this on an owner's behalf has no way to verify it afterward, which is exactly why saying so matters.
The proof is on the floor
Nothing gets certified at the end of this job. What exists is the material pulled out of each duct, left where you can look at it.
It is the crudest possible verification and the only one worth anything, because a glance tells you whether the visit changed something.

Questions
What happens when I ring?
Address, a date and time that suits, and how many machines are on the property. The price comes on that call. No estimate visit, no walkthrough, no number that appears later.
What hours?
7am to 8pm. Same-day is often possible if you ring early, and most properties are fitted in within the same week.
Do I need to be there?
Somebody does, to give access to the machines. It can be a manager or caretaker rather than the owner, and a good share of our work here is arranged that way.
Do I have to move anything?
No. We unplug each machine, uncouple the hose and draw it out, then put it back and run it before leaving.
Will the price move once you arrive?
It will not. $99 per vent is what was quoted and what gets charged. If we find a genuine obstruction rather than ordinary buildup, we stop, show you, and quote that first.
Why is it the same price as the other towns you work?
Because it is the same work. A longer run takes more time and that is accounted for in scheduling, not in a different rate for the address.
